It has been a long journey! Three years of hard work, inspiring conferences, and an incredible work environment successfully ended in a doctoral degree. My supervisors Eduardo Ros and Nicholas MacDonald have been of enormous help for me and my scientific career. My PhD was my final step in a 10-year education at the Bonn University. Bonn became my home base. I moved on now to New Mexico, USA, however, I will miss the Max Planck Institute for Radio Astronomy, the University of Bonn, Poppelsdorf, and all my friends and colleagues from home.
